Grants Manager
The Grants Manager is part of a team dedicated to developing resources for Cal Shakes artistic and education programs that increase access to the arts and build more vibrant communities. It is a full-time position reporting to the Director of Development. The Grants Manager has overall responsibility for the development and management of all institutional grant funding, and participates in the Theater's organizational and program planning efforts. In concert with other staff, the Grants Manager builds and sustains Cal Shakes' reputation of integrity, professionalism, and success as a grant seeker and a grantee.

Patron Services Associates
Know someone who wants to be involved in theater, likes talking to people, and needs a little extra money? We are hiring Patron Services Associates to help us generate funds for our Main Stage productions, community outreach, and arts education programs. Sales or fundraising experience helps, but we can train the right person. Competitive compensation includes base hourly pay plus commission and bonus, with flexible evening and weekend hours available.

Teaching Artists:
Cal Shakes seeks seasoned Teaching Artists with educational and theatrical experience for our school residencies, after-school programs, and seasonal classes. We have a high demand for Teaching Artists who can partner with classroom teachers to incorporate arts-based strategies into History and English core curriculum (Shakespeare experience a plus), as well as for experienced theater teachers with afternoon availability.
