This thoroughly modern and theatrically inventive production of Shakespeare’s profound romantic comedy features live music and an original score. Directed by Associate Artist Mark Rucker, our final production of the 2008 season explores the play’s theme of gender identity to delightful—and surprising—effect.

Events
Grove Talks
Nightly, beginning 45 minutes prior to each performance in the The Law Offices of Taggart & Hawkins Grove. Our resident Grove Talk speakers provide invaluable insight into our work as they discuss the relationship between play (text, history, critical theory) and production (directorial point of view, design, character interpretation). Talks are approximately 20 minutes long.
Tasting Nights
Tuesdays and Wednesdays, Sep 24, 30, and Oct 1. Taste the best of the Bay Area’s wine, beer, coffee, sweets, and savories for free! Our free tastings take place pre-show in the Bruns lobby, beginning at 6pm and continuing until curtain time (7:30pm).
Singles Night
Friday, Sep 26, 6-8pm; performance at 8pm. We are once again partnering with WineSocials.com for a Singles Night. This is a ticketed event. More information and tickets for the wine tasting are available here. Discounted tickets to that evening’s performance can be purchased here.
Meet the Artists
Sunday Sep 28, following the 4pm performance (approx. 7pm). Discuss the production with the cast! Takes place in the amphitheater. Free and open to the public – you need not be a ticket holder for that day’s performance to attend.
LGBT Night
Friday, Oct 3, 6:30pm (performance at 8pm) A pre-show cocktail party for the LGBT crowd, included with your ticket price. 30 and under? Tickets to the performance are only $20! Click here to buy your performance ticket and RSVP for the event.
