• Individual donors who make gifts of $100 or more become Cal Shakes Champions, eligible
   for a variety of exciting benefits.

• Young professionals who join Cal Shakers with a $75 contribution have access to a range of lively
   networking events, discounts, and other opportunities.

• Businesses of every size and budget gain access to our highly desirable audience along with
   hospitality benefits by collaborating with Cal Shakes through Corporate Partnerships.

• Individuals and business representatives alike attend ONE GREAT PARTY, our annual gala where you
   can bid on impossible-to-buy-elsewhere experiences. Many also donate auction items, wine, or other
   goods in exchange for recognition and marketing benefits.

• Volunteers give time to Cal Shakes in many ways and are rewarded with free admission to
   performances and other "insider" privileges.

• Theater Store Another way to support Cal Shakes is to make a purchase one of our terrific logo
   items, show-specific merchandise, picnic supplies, or specialty Shakespeare items from our on-site
   or online Theater Store.

You Did It!

Our goal was ambitious but simple: We asked the Cal Shakes community to increase their support or become donors for the first time in order to help us meet two generous challenge gifts: The Otter Cove Foundation and Cal Shakes Board Member Jay Yamada would match gifts made above and beyond what our donors had given before, up to $50,000 and $25,000, respectively. Thanks to the incredible response to our campaign, we exceeded both those challenges by $25,000 and our overall fundraising goal for 2012! Nearly 700 donors—perhaps including you—made a contribution because they believe in the power of theater and arts education to make a real difference in people’s lives. Their investment in our work and in our communities inspires us, every day. We’re deeply grateful to all of our 2012 supporters!
