The Shindig
There’s a lot of stuff to love about Cal Shakes: the natural vistas, the edgy reimaginings of classic theater, the sculptures, the freedom to snack and sip throughout the production. But what if you got there early? And what if there were a party waiting for you? This season, Cal Shakes presents a pair of pre-show Shindigs designed to please. Get to the Bruns in the hour and a half before the performance on June 11 and September 19 to enjoy a happy hour bash, free with your ticket to the show! Music, hors d’oeuvres, and beverages are all included.



The Ambassador Program

Are you the trendmaker in your crowd? Is Second Life just not enough drama for you? If you’re between 18 and 30, Cal Shakes Ambassador program is for you. Cal Shakes Ambassadors are young professionals or college students who enjoy unique experiences and world-class theater, and love sharing them with their friends. We provide the perks and you provide the connections to help Cal Shakes build the next generation of arts audiences and supporters.

What do I have to do?
• Bring a group (minimum of 10 people) to two shows during the season, or
• Volunteer a total of 10 hours during the season, or
• “Mix-and-match” by bringing a group to one show and volunteering 5 hours throughout the remainder of the season. or
• Help to raise $100 during the season to support Cal Shakes education and outreach programs

What are the perks?
• Your own party at the Bruns–bring a group of 10 or more to the same performance and the first round of drinks is on us!
• 2 free tickets to opening night of each show (subject to availability) and invitation to post-show party.
• 1 free ticket to you to attend with your group
• Exclusive invitations to the “Meet & Greets”
• Forwardable invitations to all our under-30 events
• Your very own Ambassador ID card
• Ambassador discount at the Midsummer Night’s Café
• Limited edition Ambassador merchandise (not available in stores!)
